Who NEI is looking for

Experienced specialists who can strengthen a defined client decision.

NEI welcomes interest from independent experts, academics, practitioners, analysts, and delivery specialists with relevant evidence and clear professional boundaries.

Technical depth

Energy systems, PV, storage, cooling, thermal engineering, controls, data, AI, or adjacent disciplines.

Market relevance

Demonstrated understanding of GCC or Australian institutions, regulation, infrastructure, commercial practice, or delivery.

Independent judgment

Ability to disclose conflicts, test assumptions, communicate uncertainty, and separate evidence from advocacy.

Usable outputs

Experience producing reviews, models, briefs, workshops, roadmaps, proposals, or implementation guidance.

How selection works

Project need comes first.

  1. NEI reviews the submitted evidence and relevant markets.
  2. A conflict and availability check is completed for a specific opportunity.
  3. Scope, role, confidentiality, deliverables, fee, and quality review are agreed before work begins.

Important boundary

Submitting interest is not an employment application and does not guarantee inclusion, referral, or paid work. Regulated services require appropriately licensed professionals in the relevant jurisdiction.

Confidential application

Express interest in project-based NEI assignments.

Applications are reviewed against specific project needs. Joining this register does not create employment, exclusivity, or a guaranteed assignment.
