How Nexus Energy Intelligence handles information submitted through this website.

Last updated: 3 September 2026

Who this notice covers

This notice covers website visitors who contact Nexus Energy Intelligence (NEI), request an advisory briefing, or express interest in the project-based NEI Expert Network.

Information you choose to provide

The website may collect your name, work email, organization, country or region, professional role, profile link, project stage, expertise, market availability, area of interest, consent choice, and the decision or challenge you describe. If you apply to the expert network, it also collects the CV or professional profile document you choose to upload. Direct email may contain additional information you choose to include.

How the information is used

  • Respond to an enquiry and assess whether NEI can help.
  • Prepare a relevant discussion, scope, or expert-network follow-up.
  • Assess expert-network suitability, experience, availability, conflicts, and relevance to a defined project need.
  • Maintain necessary records of the enquiry, consent, and response.
  • Protect the website and investigate misuse or security events.

Submitting interest does not create an engagement, employment relationship, or guaranteed project opportunity.

Website and form services

The website runs on WordPress. General enquiries use the Forminator plugin. Expert-network applications use NEI’s protected WordPress application workflow and are processed by the website hosting environment. Email responses and application alerts use NEI’s domain email service. Service providers may process limited technical or enquiry data only to operate these services.

Expert applications and CVs

Uploaded CVs are given randomized file names, stored in a non-indexed protected folder, and made available only through an authenticated administrator download. CVs are not attached to notification emails and are not published on the website. NEI will not present an applicant or their CV to a prospective client or project partner without an appropriate further discussion, permission, and confidentiality controls.

Sharing and international access

NEI does not sell enquiry information. Information may be shared with a service provider or a proposed specialist only when needed for the stated purpose, subject to appropriate confidentiality and access controls. Because NEI serves the Gulf and Australia, authorized access may occur across jurisdictions when relevant to an enquiry or assignment.

Retention and security

General enquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, a resulting engagement, legitimate operational records, or applicable obligations. Expert applications are ordinarily reviewed within 12 months and then deleted or retained only where there is an active relationship, a documented operational need, or a legal obligation. NEI uses proportionate access, confidentiality, and website-security measures, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask NEI to correct or delete enquiry information, object to further contact, or ask how the information has been handled. A request may be limited where records must be kept for security, contractual, or legal reasons.
